Tim Bilbo
Co-founder, Chief Ambassador
Land Procurement & Planning
As the Co-founder and Chief Ambassador of the Bilbo Bash Foundation, Tim Bilbo brings over 16 years of local fundraising experience and a deep commitment to the Raleigh community. After years of building successful businesses for others and supporting various food banks, churches, and clubs, Tim turned his focus toward a personal mission: supporting young adults with Autism.
In 2020, Tim partnered with Co-Founder Cara Yates to launch what began as a single event—the Bilbo Bash. Witnessing the powerful response from the local music community, they saw an opportunity to bridge the gap for families and individuals navigating the challenges of neurodiversity.
Leveraging 24 years in construction and 15 years as an entrepreneur, Tim now leads the foundation’s land procurement and planning efforts. His unique blend of technical expertise and passion for advocacy ensures the Bilbo Bash Foundation isn't just a name, but a lasting infrastructure for good.
